I dont know about the rest of you but I see that you can surf your but off and not be able to find good sites to buy equipement easily and get real reviews on that gear, I mean reviews by musicians themselves and not by factory asociated reps. Sure, there are a lot of sites that tell you how to get things done if you have a ton of cash but, we all know that a lot of the time you have got to figure out how to do things w/ what you have on hand. I have a lot of musician freinds that have helped me w/ ideas for little or no money simply by rearanging the way some things are set up. What do you think.? I am thinking live stage setups and gear. How do you all get it done. What have you done that was off the wall to make something work better.? These are tough times for money being around and I dont know about where your at but here in Phoenix you dont get booked unless you can presell a minimum amount of tickets and if you miss your goal, the money comes out of the bands pocket. Now I know it takes time to build that core of fans , but what I am asking is questions like, how do you make it easier to get that live sound tweaked w/ less.? How or what have you done to set up and break down easier. What are you using to do better ion your own studio space to make it work.? You share you r ideas and I will share mine.
